When I chat with friends about my excitement for cooking and baking with real produce and ingredients, I often get asked what are some of my favorite recipes for the family. Here are a handful of go-to’s for our family.
Take note that we use fresh, organic produce from our garden and farmer’s market whenever possible (in the summer and into fall), and we use organic from the store throughout the year.
Also note that adding fresh herbs and spices is another way we boost flavor and color. For example, fresh ginger (stored in the freezer) and grated directly into a recipe, or fresh basil from the herb garden.
